AAM NJ 100 Hour
Fundamentals Course
In our training, student’s will cover 6 models, totaling 2 brows, 2 lips, and 2 liner. In New Jersey, before receiving licensing certificates, student’s are required to complete an apprenticeship totaling 15 models. This includes 5 brow, 5 lip, and 5 liner procedures, 6 of which will be completed during our class sessions. The other 9 will be completed within 90 days in our facility. Student’s are expected to attend classes from 9am to 6pm each day, class may run beyond these hours on model days.

Outline for Apprenticeship
In the state of New Jersey, student’s working to get their permanent makeup license must complete an apprenticeship totaling 15 models evenly split between eyeliner, lip blush, and eyebrow procedures. Each apprentice will have hands-on, supervised training during each procedure.
Students are asked to bring in their own models for each procedure. 6 of the models will be done during class time (2 brow, 2 lip, and 2 liner models). The remaining 9 models will be completed in our facility within 90 days according to New Jersey state laws and requirements.
Each model will be required to pay a fee of $395 per procedure or student’s will be expected to pay for them.
Once your apprenticeship is completed and you have passed your boards exam (which we prep you for during our course), you will be licensed and ready to take clients!
