Does Permanent makeup look natural?

Our goal here at LadyChebli Beauty Bar is to enhance your natural features in the most suitable way. We pride ourselves in the art of soft enhancement and procedures that make you look and feel your best. Who is a good candidate for permanent cosmetics?

Essentially to say the least, permanent cosmetics can be great for anyone. It is great for anyone looking to cut down their getting ready time. It is great for anyone who has difficulty doing their makeup daily. Permanent makeup is best suited to match your lifestyle. With a consultation, we are able to determine what enhancements or procedures will be best for you!

Does it hurt?

Pain varies from person to person. All of these procedures are done with topical and liquid anesthetics to ensure your utmost comfort throughout the procedure. Being that you are numbed for 30 minutes for most procedures, we make sure to consult you on your comfort level throughout the procedure. Most people remain fairly comfortable the entire time with little to no pain. You are able to take Tylenol prior to your visit to reduce any pain you may encounter. Blood thinners such as ibuprofen, Advil, Aspirin, or Motrin are NOT permitted.

How long is the recovery period?

With PMU some clients may experience some redness or swelling to the procedural area, which is normal. This is temporary and usually subsides within 24 -48 hours. Most clients are able to go on with their day and return to normal activities immediate after procedure.

Do I have color choices?

Absolutely! We work together to pick the colors and undertones that are best suited for you! With permanent cosmetics, the options are endless, and we can create any colors of your choice. As the professionals, we ensure to match you to the best shades while consulting you on your ultimate desired finish.

How long will it be until I see my final results?

Most healing periods are between 5-7 days, with final result in healed color within 4-6 weeks. We require a touchup / follow up appointment 4-6 weeks later to ensure color healing and pigment payoff.

Will it fade?

Between the 3-6 week healing point, color will fade slightly, but should return once fully healed. If any color or pigment didn’t properly heal, this is corrected and touched up at the first touch up session. TOUCH UP IS REQUIRED to ensure full results.

Will I need to touch up?

All clients should return for a touch up 4-6 weeks after initial procedure. This is to ensure healing is done properly and any adjustments to pigments can be replaced at this time.

How long will it last?

This varies with each individual. The usual duration is between 2-3 years, some last as long as 5-6. This all depends on various factors that come into play (i.e sun exposure, medications, smoking, skin type etc). Proper aftercare of the treated area will help prolong the results.

Do you bleed a lot?

Most bleeding is dependent on how you prepare for your appointment. Blood thinners or certain medication can cause bleeding. The procedures themselves are fairly comfortable for most, and little to no blood occurs. Everyone is different and requires different care.

Can you wear lipstick with lip blush?

Absolutely! Once lip blush is fully healed, you can add color with lipstick, or simply wear a gloss or lip balm. Once your procedural areas are healed, there are no issues with applying anything over it.

Does lip blush work on dark lips?

PMU is all about color correction. Color correcting Dark lips can be done, and looks beautiful when completed. Keep in mind, multiple sessions may be needed for dark to light lip color correction. Please be sure to discuss with your practitioner the best options for you.

Can you overline with lip blush

Overlining can be done with lip blush, but to a very small amount. It is only recommended your practitioner SLIGHLY overline to prevent color migration from happening over time. Lip Blush should only be done on the lip line to ensure an even healing.

Can you make winged liner?

Winged eyeliner can be done with permanent cosmetics. It is encouraged that the wing be small and suitable to the client. A wing that is too far out or extended too much will result in color migration over time. Discuss with your practitioner the best shape liner for you!
