Before your procedure we give you a call to prepare you for your session with us. Pre procedural preparation is key to a smooth and comfortable session. We request that you do make sure of the following:

** For those who are prone to cold sore breakouts, we recommend you speak to your doctor and request a round of anti-viral medication to take prior to appointment. Clearance may be necessary for your comfort and healing process**

• No caffeine the morning / day of procedure
• No alcohol 48 hours prior to procedure
• No blood thinners such as ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aspirin
• TYLENOL is accepted but ONLY Tylenol

First we begin with prepping your lips. A topical anesthetic is applied to pre-numb the lips for 20 minutes. Afterwards, the technician will draw the shape of the new lips so that you can evaluate and make any changes.

The procedure takes place over the course of an hour to an hour and a half, if not longer, depending on the look you’re going for.

Once the appointment is completed, your lips may be swollen. You can ice them if necessary. Over the next week, your lips will start to heal, meaning they may scab, so it’s important to time this carefully around your schedule.

Scabbing is light to moderate, and can be combatted it protective ointment.
